Another bizarre creature identified by our experts in Search and Discover.

It’s green and furry. Is it a fungus or a fluoro moss? Believe it or not, Australian Museum experts have identified this creature as a caterpillar that will metamorphose into a Looper Moth. This caterpillar belongs to the genus Anisozyga in the family Geometridae. Our researchers are not sure of the exact species, but one member of the family is called a Weird Looper!
