Ignite curiosity today
Your gift today is igniting a passion for curiosity in the next generation.
Your gift today will help educate the next generation through culture, research and storytelling.
Only through the tremendous support from people like you can we remain at the forefront in transformative education programs – unique, interactive and accessible learning spaces for our youngest generation.
Thanks to our wonderful supporters, we are almost ready to open Burra - a brand new interactive education centre. It offers children a ‘many ways’ learning approach where First Nations knowledge is woven together with western scientific research.
Soon, children will be able to follow the amazing journey of Burra (the eel) from the warm Pacific waters to the Gadigal Coast, meeting different animal teachers along the way. It’s an exciting and wonderous way for our youngest generation to learn about climate change, culture and the world around us.
We are also breaking down barriers for people with disability through a new program developed in conjunction with Autism Spectrum Australia. Early Birds: Autism and Sensory-Friendly Mornings is a series of smaller, quieter and fully supported visits before we open to the public. The aim is to make it easier for those on the autism spectrum, or those with other access requirements, to enjoy everything we have to offer. But none of this – not one program – would be possible without the continued support from people like you.
Together, we can ignite curiosity and give children the space to learn, discover and explore.
