DinoSnore: Sleepover at the Museum
Spend the night at the Australian Museum with your family and friends. Experience an action-packed program, including dinner and breakfast, guided torchlight tours, interactive experiences and more!
Ages: 6 - 12 years
Ever wonder what really happens when the Museum doors close at night? Curious minds aged 6-12 years old and their grown-ups are invited to the Australian Museum's family-favourite sleepover event.
Start the evening with a buffet dinner at Bistro Gadi on Level 4, where you’ll enjoy dazzling views of St Mary’s Cathedral and the city lights. Then embark on a guided torchlight tour, uncovering the Museum’s hidden gems and secrets; followed by an educational workshop featuring real dinosaur fossils to see and touch. Wind down for the evening with the classic family movie Night at the Museum (2006) screened in the Theatre, before drifting off to sleep in one of the Museum’s oldest galleries- Dinosaurs or Wild Planet.
The excitement continues into the morning! Tuck into a hearty breakfast in Hintze Hall and then enjoy an up-close encounter with Australian wildlife, including Australia's largest lizard, facilitated by Dragon Training Mobile Zoo.
Prepare for a night of wonder and exploration that will create memories to last a lifetime! Secure your spots today.
