I am an honours student from UNSW, supervised by Dr Jodi Rowley and a volunteer FrogID validator. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I have become fascinated by amphibians because of their amazing roles within ecosystems and their ability to inform us about hazards or threats within an environment by being biological indicators.
My honours project will be focusing on understanding the recent frog mortality event recorded in Australia over winter 2021. Using a combination of information from the FrogID project and field studies, we hope to understand the impact of this event on frog populations and help investigate the cause.
