Blue-green Bryozoan
Scientific name: Virididentula dentata
Introduction
The Blue-green Bryozoan is one of the more common species of bryozoans found in sheltered rocky areas.
Identification
The zooids of this bryozoan are arranged in pairs and line up end to end. This gives the Blue-green Bryozoan colony a plant-like appearance, particularly as the zooids do not have reinforced walls and the colony is moved by wave motion.
