The Banded Sweep can be recognised by its shape and colouration. The species occurs in southern Australian waters from eastern South Australia to south-western Western Australia.



The Banded Sweep has two dark bands on the body, a dark opercular margin and black pectoral fin base.

Distribution

Banded Sweeps are known to occur from eastern South Australia to south-western Western Australia.
