Habitat
Pygmy Long-eared Bats have been seen roosting in palms and pandanus thickets.

Feeding and diet
Pygmy Long-eared Bats feed on bugs, beetles and wasps. They fly close to water as they hunt for their prey.
Conservation status
Pygmy Long-eared Bats are vulnerable to loss of roosting sites and adverse changes to feeding areas from clearing of vegetation and land degradation from agricultural activities.
