Christmas Island Pipistrelle

Introduction
Christmas Island Pipistrelles are the only microbats on Christmas Island.
Habitat
Christmas Island Pipistrelles live in both primary and regrowth forest.They roost in tree hollows and amongst rainforest vegetation.

Feeding and diet
Christmas Island Pipistrelles eat mostly moths but also beetles, ants, bugs and flies. They forage above and below the canopy, and are fast and manoeuvrable fliers.
