Enjoy a night of adventure at the Australian Museum! Curious minds aged 6-12 years old and their grown-ups have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable night filled with excitement and discovery.
Indulge in a delicious dinner, immerse yourself in a thrilling movie in the Theatre and embark on a torchlight tour to unveil the Museum's hidden wonders including the scene-stealing Dinosaurs Gallery!
The team from Australian Wildlife Displays will share fascinating facts about incredible animals through their engaging show and talk. Keep an eye out for our mischievous puppet dinosaur, Winny the Muttaburrasaurus, who will surprise you with unexpected appearances and then you'll drift off to sleep in one of the Museum’s oldest galleries.
Your DinoSnore ticket also gets you free and exclusive entry to our new Hologram Dinosaurs experience, an immersive journey into the world of dinosaurs, where lifelike creatures come alive before your eyes.

Please note, this DinoSnore sleepover will take place in Wild Planet. It will include a torchlight tour of Dinosaurs.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum of one adult to three children ratio. Adults are not permitted without a child.
Australian Wildlife Displays
Australian Wildlife Displays specialise in the educational display of Australian native animals. Their "hands-on" animal shows are guaranteed to capture the wild imagination of kids and adults alike. All presenters are tertiary qualified in either science, wildlife management or education and deliver a unique show that is exciting, humorous and informative.

FAQs
The Australian Museum is located on the corner of College Street and William Street in central Sydney, just across the road from Hyde Park and opposite St Mary's Cathedral.
Bus, train and parking information can be found here. Please note that there is no parking available at the Museum so we have arranged a special flat rate of $15 overnight parking at 70 Riley Street Wilson Carpark for DinoSnore guests from 4pm. To receive the discount, pre-book online at book a bay and use promo code DINOSNORE.
- Sleeping bag, pillow (we provide a single [195 x 80 x 10 cm] Dune 4WD Mat however, guests are welcome to bring their own if preferred)
- Comfortable sleeping clothes
- Torch
- Toothbrush, toiletries and wash cloth (no showers available)
- Bottle of water. There will be water available at dinner and breakfast, but we recommend guests bring their own water bottle to have in case you get thirsty during the night.
- Please note: the Museum is unable to store personal belongings so please leave valuables at home.
The program is not suited to children under 6 years of age and each child does require a ticket.
If you are running late then please call Security on 02 9320 6335 when you arrive. They can radio event staff to let you in.
Chefs from The Fresh Collective will serve a Buffet Dinner and Continental Breakfast with a range of options including catering for any allergies or food intolerances.
No. We do not allow guests to bring alcohol into the Museum.
No alcohol is to be brought on site by visitors but we do ask that you bring a bottle of water for the night. We will be catering for dinner and breakfast so there should be no need to bring food/drink unless you have specific dietary requirements that we cannot cater for.
If you think you will need extra snacks then you are welcome to pack these, but please make sure you take all rubbish with you when you pack up your sleeping gear.

Following day
- 6.15am: Wake-up call. Pack-up gear, get dressed
- 6.30am - 7.15am: Breakfast
- 7.15am - 8am: Viewing of current special exhibition
- 8am: Goodbye
Yes, however, this will only be possible from 8.30pm and you will need to stay with your child.
Yes. Parental or adult supervision is required at all times, including escorting them to the toilet during the night.
We will have a centralised USB charging station available at dinner and during the movie. Please bring your own cable to plug into our USB dock. Please DO NOT unplug any Museum equipment.
Yes. You are welcome to attend the Museum during the day on Friday and Saturday, however there will be no access to the Museum between the hours of 5pm - 6pm and 8am - 10am. Much of the Museum will be covered during DinoSnore.
