15 May 2022, Sydney: Even more families, Jurassic World fans and LEGO® lovers of all ages can experience the Jurassic World by Brickman® exhibition at the Australian Museum (AM) with extended dates through to the July School Holidays. The largest LEGO® brick exhibition in Australian history will now remain on display in the AM’s touring exhibition hall through to Sunday 17 July 2022.

Australian Museum Director and CEO Kim McKay AO said the exhibition has already been hugely popular with visitors and the new dates will allow even more people to experience it.

“We’ve seen more than 100,000 visitors in the first two months to this blockbuster exhibition. By extending the exhibition dates through to the July school holidays, hundreds of thousands more people will be able to experience this fun and interactive LEGO® brick dinosaur exhibition at the Australian Museum,” Ms McKay said.

Geoff Jones, Chief Executive Officer of TEG, reinforced the success of Jurassic World by Brickman®.

“Seeing the overwhelming support and turn-out for Jurassic World by Brickman® has been fantastic. This has been our biggest Brickman LEGO® brick exhibition to date and TEG is thrilled that it is having an extended run at the Australian Museum. We encourage families and LEGO® fans to secure their tickets and enjoy this world-class interactive experience.”

Families and curious children of all ages from across Sydney and beyond have provided rave reviews of the Jurassic World by Brickman® exhibition at the Australian Museum since it opened in early March 2022.

“It was the bestest thing I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen Jurassic World five times, so I know good things!” Elliott, a four-year-old from Kellyville Ridge, said.

“The Brickman guy is a genius for making those LEGO® brick sculptures. The T-Rex and Jeep are the coolest things I’ve ever seen. I’ve told everyone at my school they need to go!” Lewis, an eight-year-old from Kellyville Ridge, said.

Proudly presented by Kmart, Jurassic World by Brickman®, is brought to Sydney by TEG Live and Brickman®, in partnership with the Australian Museum. The Brickman is led by LEGO® Certified Professional Ryan McNaught, the only LEGO® Certified Professional in the Southern Hemisphere and the star judge of the hit TV show LEGO® Masters Australia.

Jurassic World by Brickman® will remain open through to Sunday 17 July at the Australian Museum, in time for the June 9 cinema release of the new Jurassic World: Dominion film from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Tickets are available through Ticketek. Visitors can use their Discover NSW Vouchers towards becoming an Australian Museum Member, which provides a free Jurassic World by Brickman® ticket.

The Australian Museum has COVID-19 protocols in place to help keep staff, visitors and the community safe, including physical distancing, increased cleaning and hygiene practices. Facemasks are encouraged.
