About the program
This limited-time program is a unique integration of Science, Visual Arts, and First Nations perspectives.
Here, students will develop their observation skills and build knowledge of Australian birds as they listen to First Nations stories, examine specimens from the Musuem’s Ornithology collection, and appreciate the art of Elizabeth Gould.
Then, using drawing and printmaking techniques students will focus on the elements of line and shape to design and make their own artwork inspired by the living world.
Complete your experience with a self-led visit of the Museum’s Birds of Australia gallery (Level 2) and Birds of Australia STORYBOX exhibition (Upper Ground, June 7th- 27th July).
