A Spectacled Leatherjacket at a depth of 10 m, North Solitary Island, New South Wales, 24 January 2013. Thank you to Barry Hutchins for identifying the fish in the image. The white band on the caudal peduncle and the black mask around the eyes are useful characters for identifying the species. Barry stated "Another new record I believe for New South Wales, a large juvenile of Cantherhines fronticinctus. This tropical species has not been found south of Queensland before. Image: Ian Shaw
