Join Fish Collection Manager Mark McGrouther on a quick tour through some of the Fish Collection at the Australian Museum.

The Australian Museum's Fish Collection is the largest in Australia. It contains the fourth most important type collection in the world after those of the USNM (Washington), BMNH (London) and MNHN (Paris). The oldest specimen was collected in 1858 (see image).  The collection is still growing and being used extensively by researchers worldwide.
