These full-day programs are run by educators from the Australian Museum, Taronga Zoo, the Botanic Gardens of Sydney and the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden.

Stage 6, Biology, Evolution and ecosystems
A student:
analyses the relationships between organisms and their environment using the theory of evolution by natural selection BI-11-03
conducts scientific investigations to collect data and information BI-11WS-03
selects and processes qualitative and quantitative data and information BI-11WS-04
uses scientific processes to solve scientific problems BI-11WS-06
Bring the study of evolution and ecosystems to life through hands-on learning with some of NSW's leading scientific organisations.
Students will investigate fossils, live animals and plants to explore how organisms interact with their environments, how adaptations support survival, and how evolution contributes to species diversity.
Developed by the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden, Australian Museum and Taronga Zoo, these study days support the new NSW Biology syllabus content for Evolution and Ecosystems.
