Although wulfenite can form in blocky crystals, it is rare to find faceted gems as it is too brittle to work with. This grouping of red-orange blockshaped crystals is a fine example of this form of wulfenite and the reason why so many people refer to these crystals as caramel sweets. Albert Chapman purchased this specimen from Californian mineral collector and dealer Al McGuiness who, in turn, acquired it from solicitor and mineral collector, Cliff Krueger, in the early 1970s.
