Fish Dissections
The dissection of a Bluespotted Flathead is aimed at junior secondary school students. It aims to help students become familiar with the internal organs of a fish. The dissection consists of three parts: an external examination, the internal organs, and the mouth and gills.
The dissection of a Blue Mackerel is aimed at senior secondary and lower tertiary students. It provides more details about each of the organs. The dissection features images taken during a dissection performed by Year 12 students at St Vincent's College, Potts Point, Sydney, New South Wales in May 1998.
