After the amazing effort from the whole Aztecs Project Team to create a truly beautiful exhibition, the Lifelong Learning team followed up with the Teachers Preview night. Teachers were greeted with a Mexican fiesta before heading into the theatre to be welcomed by Kim McKay the Australian Museum Director and CEO.

The teachers were treated to a fantastic presentation on Aztec culture and exhibition development by Fran Dorey, Exhibition Project Officer. Our Aztecs photo booth and cactus bowling proved a great hit, as did the food, drinks and social mingling.

Melissa Grima attended the event and passed on her thoughts at our Teacher Advisory group today "The Australian Museum offers an awe-inspiring exhibition which encompasses Aztec archaeology, mythology, history and art. A must see for any teacher or student who has a love of the past and a desire to experience a civilisation that no longer exists in all its glory."

The whole Lifelong Learning team wanted to thank all the teachers that attended the event and created an amazing vibe on the night. We will continue to work hard to make memorable learning experience for you and you students at the Australian Museum.
