Steinitz' Shrimp Goby is white with five red-brown bars. The white areas between the bars have pale yellow lines. The dorsal fins have orange dots.

Habitat
It usually lives in a burrow with an alpheid shrimp.
Distribution
Steinitz' Shrimp Goby occurs in tropical marine waters of the Indo-West Pacific.
In Australia it is known from the offshore reefs of Western Australia and from much of the Great Barrier Reef.
