Troughton's Sheathtail Bat
Introduction
Troughton's Sheathtail Bats are known from only a few specimens from three sites near Mt Isa. Very little is known about them. The last known site was destroyed by mining operations.
Habitat
Troughton's Sheathtail Bats roost in caves and mines.

The Troughton's Sheathtail Bat's diet is not known.
Conservation status
Troughton's Sheathtail Bats are vulnerable to disturbance from human visitors to cave roosts, destruction of caves by mining, and loss of feeding habitat by clearing and land degradation from agriculture.
