Sophie Phillips is a Natural Science Conservator working across the Life and Geoscience collections held at the Australian Museum. Sophie holds a master's degree in Conservation, where she specialised in objects conservation, with a focus on Natural Science. Sophie works closely alongside the Senior Natural Science Conservator across numerous projects to ensure the highest level of care for these fascinating and significant specimens.
Sophie is an active member of the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM) and has held various positions on NSW Division Committee. She is also a member of The Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (SPNHC).
