
Olivia Roosen (she/her)
Olivia Roosen is an experienced Digitisation Specialist with a deep foundation in digitising heritage photographic collections.
Olivia joined the Australian Museum in 2022, contributing to the Photographic Archives Digitisation (PAD) Project. Her role within the World Cultures, Archives, and Library team deepened her understanding of the Museum’s rich cultural history and provided her with a greater appreciation for how the six cultural collections have shaped its identity. Prior to joining the Museum, Olivia worked across many historic photographic formats as a Metadata Specialist on the Historical Archive Digitisation Project for Transport for NSW.
Passionate about enhancing accessibility to museum collections, Olivia is dedicated to leveraging digital technologies to expand engagement with the Australian Museum's unique cultural collections and vast natural science collections.
