Maria Genetzakis

Maria Genetzakis is a Book, Paper, and Photographs Conservator working across the broad range of Australian Museum Archives, Rare Books and Library (ARBL) materials. This includes providing preventive and interventive treatment to working collections within the Australian Museum Research Institute (AMRI) research libraries.

With previous roles in federal government collecting institutions, Maria has experience providing conservation advice, assessments and treatments to books, maps, artworks, manuscripts, and other paper materials as well as textiles, objects, and paintings.

Maria completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at The University of Newcastle before graduating from The University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Heritage, Museums and Conservation.
