Museum Minis introduces 3-5-year-old children to a topic in the Museum. Each week young children and their families will visit a new space or exhibition where they will engage in a story, some singing, and object or specimen handling. Image: Anna Kučera

Term Day Session times
Term 2: 27 April - 1 July (except 13 June) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30pm (during term time only)
July school holidays Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30pm

Ages: 3-5 years

Length: Approximately 20 mins

Please note: Children must be supervised by their parent/carer at all times.

Join the fun in our new pop-up playgroups, Museum Minis, for kids aged 3-5 and their parents and caregivers.

Museum educators with early-learning experience will introduce a new exhibition and topic each week, including dinosaurs, animals, Australian wildlife, and First Nations cultures.

Your little ones will explore the world around them and experience hands-on learning in small groups through music, craft, games and play.

Add to your Museum visit with this free program and discover a new subject each week. Meet an emu in Surviving Australia, get up close to penguins in Wild Planet, encounter an enormous sauropod in Dinosaurs, and much more!

Entry is free, but registration is a must.

Please arrive to your session 10 minutes early. If you have not arrived prior to your session time, your ticket may be made available to another visitor.
