Unfinished Business Exhibition
Unfinished Business Exhibition. Unfinished Business brings together the voices of 30 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living with disabilities from remote, regional, and urban communities across Australia. Utilising the 3D-effect of lenticular photography, which creates an illusion of depth, movement and transformation, and documentary film, each image demonstrates the diversity of disability. This powerful body of work was created by Sydney-based human rights documentarian Belinda Mason OAM and her sons Dieter and Liam Knierim. Image: Louise Reily

Enjoy an exclusive and intimate tour of the Museum's newest exhibit, Unfinished Business, led by exhibition production, Trevor Ahearn.

Unfinished Business reveals the stories of 30 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living with disabilities from remote, regional, and urban communities across Australia. Each participant’s story is complex and intertwined with Australia’s political and social history, detailing the ongoing impact of colonisation, and calling for meaningful social and systemic change. Unfinished Business exposes the injustices experienced by many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disabilities and, importantly, shows us the power and dignity inherent in the participants.

With strictly limited capacity, these intimate tours are an unmissable opportunity to deep-dive into this fantastic and moving new exhibition. Book your tickets now to avoid missing out!
