Can you guess what our obscure looking museum exhibit is in 'Museum Mystery of the Week'?

Inspired by a workshop with Fred Dust of IDEO (award-winning global design firm) on the use of social media in museums we bring you our first 'Museum Mystery of the Week'! Each week we will post a photograph of an exhibit or specimen from within the museum to see if our visitors can guess what it is! Answers will be given at the end of the week as well as information on the specimen and where it can be found when you visit our fine institution!
