Based on the scenic South Coast of New South Wales, Samuel focuses his lens on the raw beauty and poignant narratives of the natural world around him. Nowhere is this more evident than in My Country Burns, his winning image that is now on display in the Australian Museum; a snapshot of the devastating 2019/2020 Black Summer bushfires.
