Discover the rich heritage of Niuean culture in our Niuean weaving workshop, guided by talented weaving artist Sione Falemaka.

In a small group setting, participants will learn two weaving techniques, Tuitui Sia Kato and Lalanga Kato, using a range of natural and recycled materials. Participants will also have the option of taking a guided tour of the Museum's new Pasifika Gallery Wansolmoana.

Not only will Sione share fascinating insights and stories about traditional Niuean craft and culture, participants will also be encouraged to share their own stories and learnings with Sione and fellow workshop participants, deepening a sense of community connections through common bonds.
