Matt has worked in the university research sector for over 15 years, also teaching zoology and ecology (both theoretical and applied) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interests include the ecology and management of invasive species (particularly cane toads) and the ecology and conservation of reptiles and amphibians (working on everything from snakes to skinks and geckos to goannas).
