Growing up watching the likes of Steve Irwin and David Attenborough, animals (especially reptiles and dinosaurs) have always been something that fascinated me. Developing an interest in science throughout high school, I decided to pursue my love for animals through a biology major in a Bachelor of Science at Macquarie University. At the end of my degree, I had the opportunity to volunteer in a lab working on frog research. This is where I gained more interest in amphibians and how they operate in our ecosystems. I look forward to completing my Honours this year at UNSW with Jodi and the Australian Museum. We aim to use FrogID call data to estimate frog abundance for a range of species across Australia. This research should help in finding out where conservation efforts need to be focused for certain species.
Outside of this, I enjoy bushwalking and attempting to be decent at wildlife photography
