Introduction
As its standard name implies, the Wideband Anemonefish has blue lips as well as a broad bar on the sides of the body. It lives in association with anemones on offshore reefs.
Identification
The Blue-lip Anemonefish is most easily separated from the other Australian anemonefishes by the presence of a broad bar on the sides of the body.
Habitat
It lives in association with anemones on offshore reefs in depths of 15 m to 45 m.
Distribution
The species occurs from southern Queensland to northern New South Wales and Lord Howe Island.
