Vanessa Gardos

Vanessa is an experienced program manager and science communicator, with a passion for STEM education and informal learning. With a background running education outreach programs in metro, regional and remote areas, Vanessa is committed to delivering equitable, accessible and appropriate educational opportunities for students, teachers, families and communities across the country.

In her role as A/Head of Education she leads a talented team of education specialists and program presenters delivering onsite, online and outreach activities across priority science and First Nations content areas. The team work closely with colleagues across the Australian Museum and with other cultural institutions and education organisations, locally and nationally.

Vanessa has worked previously in outreach, public engagement and education roles for Questacon, the Australian National University, the Department of Industry and the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences.
