
Dr Yiyuan Wang
Dr Yiyuan Wang joins the AMRI Collection Enhancement Project to work on the digitisation and visualisation of AMRI’s extensive natural science collections. Yiyuan is a joint Postdoctoral Research Fellow between AMRI and UTS School of Computer Science and UTS Visualisation Institute.
Dr Wang has a multidisciplinary background in computer science, human-computer interaction, and interaction design. Yiyuan completed her PhD in the Urban Interfaces Lab at the University of Sydney, with a focus on designing, prototyping, and evaluating human-machine interfaces and extended reality experiences. Yiyuan holds a first-class honours degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Sydney, specialising in data mining for large-scale accelerometric datasets.
