Taofia Pelesasa
Staff Profile
Taofia Pelesasa is of Samoan and Tokelauan heritage. His background is in the arts – running a Production company out of Western Sydney which centres the Pasifika-Australian diaspora and its stories. In his work in the Arts, community engagement is a major component in the creation of the company's framework – assuring that the work is in tandem with the community in which it speaks to. With a particular interest in Pasifika young peoples and storytelling his work in these spheres have translated into his work at the Australian Museum’s Pasifika Collections team and their community engagement and outreach.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts – Majoring in Screen Arts.
