Kyra is an objects Conservator who works primarily with the Cultural Collections at the Australian Museum. She is currently involved in several exhibition projects to prepare and install cultural objects for display. Kyra has experience in the preventive and remedial conservation of organic materials, ceramics, and natural history specimens.

Kyra has extensive experience in large-scale collection relocation projects through the Australian Museum, and previously at the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences and Chau Chak Wing Museum at the University of Sydney. These projects involved collection surveys of diverse materials, undertaking remedial treatment to stabilise objects for safe travel and storage, and creating bespoke housing systems.
