Key Info

  • Position Title
Technical Officer Australian Centre for Wildlife Genomics

Profile

My broad research interests include conservation genetics, molecular ecology, behavioural ecology and evolutionary biology. For my PhD I combined genetic techniques with behavioural and mark-recapture data to investigate social organisation and population structure of Threatened great desert skinks in central Australia, which has left me with a slight obsession with reptiles, and a soft spot for the desert environment.

As a member of the ACWG team, I collaborate on a range of research projects that involve using population genetics to help inform management of Australian wildlife, including the Koala, as part of the Koala genome project.
