Te Raranga Whanui promote the essence of te ao Māori (Māori language, values and identity), and these free live performances are perfect for the whole family to learn and embrace Māori culture.

Established in 2010, Te Kapa Haka o Te Raranga Whanui have been at the forefront of Kapa Haka (traditional Māori performing arts). Since its inception, Te Raranga Whanui continue to promote the essence of te ao Māori through Kapa Haka, encapsulating traditional song, dance and storytelling. Kapa Haka works to unite communities, fostering a deep sense of identity and pride among participants. Through intricate choreography and melodious chants, Te Raranga Whanui Kapa Haka showcases the beauty and resilience of Māori traditions.
