Sorry, this event is sold out!
Ages: 8-12 years
In this full-day school holiday workshop, budding palaeontologists will travel back in time as they explore the Museum's amazing fossil collection and awe-inspiring Dinosaurs gallery!
The rare chance to go behind-the-scenes allows kids to engage with resident palaeontologists to hear first-hand what happens on a fossil dig and discover the fascinating research undertaken by scientists at the Australian Museum Research Institute.
Children will get creative and design their own Dino Diorama, make a fossil mould and cast and participate in a range of fun activities and games led by staff.
Bring a hat for outdoors, water bottle, lunch and snack for morning and afternoon breaks.
